Terms of use

StressSignal Terms of Service

Effective date: September 8, 2026. These terms govern your use of StressSignal, a U.S.-focused market-stress, credit-conditions, and decision-support platform. They establish usage rules, intellectual property protections, advice limitations, payment terms, and liability boundaries.

Important: The service is not a substitute for a broker, registered investment adviser, attorney, accountant, or tax professional. The scoring methodology, signal weightings, and analytical frameworks are proprietary trade secrets of StressSignal Intelligence and may not be copied, reverse-engineered, or redistributed.
1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of StressSignal, including the website, dashboard, alerts, account features, paid subscriptions, and related content, data views, and support features offered through the service. The service is operated by [UAE legal entity name], [registered address], Dubai, United Arab Emirates (the Operator).

By creating an account, requesting or using a magic link, clicking to accept these Terms, purchasing a subscription, or otherwise using the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, and disputes are resolved in Dubai as described in Section 17. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service scope and eligibility

StressSignal provides analysis of United States market conditions and is available to users globally. The content, data, and indicators focus on U.S. credit markets, stress signals, and related financial conditions. You represent that you are at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under the laws applicable to you.

You may not use the service if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law, if you are located in a jurisdiction subject to comprehensive sanctions, or if your use would cause the operator to violate sanctions, export controls, or other legal restrictions.

3. What the service provides

StressSignal provides market-stress analysis, educational context, signal aggregation, dashboards, commentary, and non-personalized decision-support tools relating to credit conditions, market structure, funding stress, sentiment, and related financial indicators.

The service may include free features, paid features, beta features, alerts, scoring models, methodology content, and account-level customization. Features can change over time.

4. No investment advice or professional advice

StressSignal is an informational and educational product only. It is not a registered investment adviser, broker-dealer, commodity trading adviser, financial planner, tax adviser, legal adviser, accounting firm, or fiduciary.

Nothing in the service is personalized investment advice, a recommendation to buy, sell, hold, rebalance, or avoid any security or strategy, or advice tailored to your objectives, risk tolerance, liquidity needs, or financial situation.

You remain solely responsible for your own research, due diligence, trading, portfolio construction, tax decisions, legal decisions, and any use of the service.

5. No guarantee of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or outcomes

The service relies in part on public, third-party, derived, estimated, and model-based inputs. Data can be delayed, stale, revised, incomplete, interrupted, noisy, mislabeled, structurally low cadence, or unavailable. Models and heuristics can also be wrong.

The service does not warrant that any data, alert, score, signal, explanation, visualization, timing indication, or narrative is accurate, complete, current, suitable, or predictive of future market behavior.

Past observations, backtests, historical examples, and model outputs do not guarantee future performance or outcomes.

6. Beta features and experimental functionality

Some parts of the service may be labeled alpha, beta, early access, preview, experimental, or similar. Those features may be incomplete, unstable, changed, suspended, or removed at any time without notice.

You use beta or experimental features at your own risk.

7. Accounts, credentials, and security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate account information and keep it reasonably current.

You must promptly notify the operator if you suspect unauthorized access, credential compromise, or misuse of your account. Use the dedicated security reporting path made available in the service where possible. The operator may suspend or restrict access to protect the service, users, or the platform.

8. Prohibited conduct and acceptable use

You may not misuse the service, interfere with its operation, or use it in a way that could harm the platform, other users, data providers, payment processors, or the operator. You expressly agree NOT to:

  • reverse engineer, decompile, scrape, frame, mirror, or systematically extract content, data, algorithms, scoring methodologies, or visual designs except as expressly allowed by law
  • use any robot, spider, scraper, automated tool, or manual process to monitor, copy, or extract data, content, or information from the service without prior written consent
  • probe, bypass, or defeat security, rate limits, access controls, watermarks, or billing controls
  • use the service to develop, enhance, train AI models, or operate any product or service that competes with the service, or assist any third party in doing so
  • systematically capture, record, screenshot, or replicate service content for the purpose of building competitive offerings or redistributing proprietary analysis
  • resell, sublicense, redistribute, publish, or commercially exploit any data, scores, analyses, or content from the service to any third party
  • share account credentials or allow multiple individuals to access the service using a single account except as permitted by your subscription plan
  • upload malicious code, attempt credential abuse, or interfere with system integrity or availability
  • use the service in violation of securities, consumer-protection, privacy, export-control, or other applicable law
  • remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary notices, watermarks, copyright notices, or attribution labels
9. Paid plans, billing, and renewals

Paid subscriptions may be offered on monthly or annual terms. By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the applicable payment processor, including Stripe or PayPal where used, to charge the fees, taxes, and other disclosed amounts for your selected plan.

Unless otherwise stated at checkout, paid subscriptions automatically renew at the end of the billing period until canceled. You are responsible for reviewing pricing, renewal terms, and any trial or promotional conditions shown at checkout.

Except where required by law or expressly stated by the operator, fees are non-refundable after the billing period has started. Canceling stops future renewal but does not retroactively reverse charges already incurred.

The operator may change pricing, plan features, or packaging prospectively. Material pricing changes will apply on a future billing cycle, not retroactively to a completed period.

10. Intellectual property, trade secrets, and proprietary methodology

The service, including its branding, software, design, models, text, dashboards, visualizations, documentation, user interface designs, and compiled presentation of information, is owned by StressSignal Intelligence or its licensors and is protected by copyright, trade secret, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws.

PROPRIETARY METHODOLOGY: The composite stress scoring methodology constitutes a trade secret of StressSignal Intelligence. This includes, but is not limited to: (a) signal weighting algorithms and calibrations, (b) risk band thresholds and definitions, (c) timing score calculations, (d) decision engine logic and recommendations, (e) data aggregation and normalization techniques, (f) alert triggering criteria, and (g) the specific combination and presentation of signals. You agree to maintain the confidentiality of these methodologies.

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the service for your internal personal or internal business use. This license does not include any right to reproduce, distribute, modify, adapt, create derivative works, reverse engineer, or publicly display any proprietary content.

StressSignal and the StressSignal logo are trademarks of StressSignal Intelligence. You may not use these marks without prior written permission.

11. Security measures and monitoring

To protect intellectual property and enforce these Terms, the service employs technical measures including but not limited to: user-identifiable watermarks on data displays, rate limiting and access pattern monitoring, bot detection and automated access prevention, and session logging and activity auditing.

You acknowledge that any data leaked or shared in violation of these Terms may be traced back to your account through watermarking and audit logs. You agree to be held responsible for any violations originating from your account.

The service reserves the right to immediately terminate access and pursue legal remedies against any user found to be systematically extracting, copying, or redistributing proprietary content.

12. Third-party services and external sources

The service may rely on or link to third-party services, payment processors, authentication providers, browsers, devices, data sources, APIs, and external sites. The operator is not responsible for third-party products, content, uptime, terms, policies, or practices.

Your use of third-party services may be governed by separate terms and policies from those providers.

13. Disclaimer of warranties

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED ON AN AS IS AND AS AVAILABLE BASIS, WITH ALL FAULTS, AND WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, STATUTORY, OR OTHERWISE.

WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, THE OPERATOR DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, ACCURACY, SYSTEM INTEGRATION, AND RESULTS FROM USE OF THE SERVICE.

THE OPERATOR DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, TIMELY, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.

14. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STRESSSIGNAL INTELLIGENCE AND ITS AFFILIATES, LICENSORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS, CONTRACTORS, AND PERSONNEL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, GOODWILL, BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, TRADING LOSSES, MISSED OPPORTUNITIES, OR PORTFOLIO LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY OF STRESSSIGNAL INTELLIGENCE FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100) OR THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO THE OPERATOR FOR THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

These limitations apply regardless of the theory of liability and even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose, except to the extent prohibited by law.

15. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless StressSignal Intelligence and its affiliates, licensors, service providers, contractors, and personnel from and against claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or related to your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, your violation of law, or your infringement of any rights of another person or entity.

16. Suspension and termination

StressSignal Intelligence may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you violated these Terms, created risk, failed to pay amounts due, or used the service in a way that could harm users, partners, or the platform.

If we terminate your access for violation of these Terms, including but not limited to data scraping, automated extraction, credential sharing, reverse engineering, or any other prohibited conduct, you forfeit all fees paid and are not entitled to any refund. Termination for cause may be supported by usage logs, access patterns, and other data-driven evidence of abuse.

You may stop using the service at any time by canceling your subscription through your account settings. However, cancellation does not entitle you to any refund. There are no pro-rata refunds for unused portions of monthly or annual subscription periods. Once a billing period has begun, the fee for that period is non-refundable regardless of when you cancel.

The following provisions will survive termination: ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, payment obligations, and dispute terms.

17. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms and any non-contractual obligations arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai, subject to any mandatory law that cannot be excluded.

Before initiating any formal dispute, you agree to contact us through the Feedback page and attempt to resolve the matter informally for at least thirty (30) days. Most concerns can be resolved quickly this way.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, any dispute shall be referred to and finally resolved by arbitration in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The language of the arbitration shall be English. The arbitration shall be conducted by a single arbitrator.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, you agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.

18. Changes to the service or these terms

StressSignal Intelligence may modify the service or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms become effective when posted or on the effective date stated in the update. Continued use of the service after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

If a change materially affects your rights or obligations, we may provide notice through the service, by email, or by another reasonable method.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms should be directed through the Feedback page or contact channels made available in the service. Security concerns should be submitted through the dedicated security reporting path provided in the service.
